1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Roundexa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid users.

2. Description of Service

Roundexa is an AI-powered mock interview platform that helps students and job seekers practice for interviews. The Service includes resume analysis, AI-generated questions, and automated feedback powered by OpenAI's language models.

3. Account Registration

You must register with a valid Google account or a valid email address verified by a one-time code. A mobile number can optionally be added afterward for account recovery.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
One account per person — creating multiple accounts to gain extra free credits is prohibited.

4. Credits and Payments

New users receive 20 complimentary credits on account creation.
Additional credits can be purchased via Razorpay (UPI, credit/debit cards, netbanking).
Credits are non-transferable and can only be used within your account.
Purchased and complimentary credits do not expire and carry forward indefinitely.
All credit purchases are one-time — Roundexa does not offer recurring subscriptions or auto-renewing plans.
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the AI models or prompts.
Upload resumes or content that belongs to another person without their consent.
Circumvent credit deduction through technical means.
Share your account credentials with others.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Interview questions and feedback are generated by AI (powered by OpenAI) and may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to every situation. Roundexa's feedback is for practice purposes only and does not guarantee employment or interview success. Always verify information with authoritative sources.

7. Roundexa Assistant — Learning & Practice Tool

Roundexa Assistant (the downloadable desktop overlay application) is provided strictly as a self-practice and learning aid for interview preparation. It must not be used to misrepresent your own knowledge, skills, or qualifications to any employer, recruiter, educational institution, examination body, or other third party.

You are solely and fully responsible for deciding how, when, and where you use Roundexa Assistant, including any use during an actual job interview, assessment, examination, or other evaluation conducted by a third party. It is your responsibility to independently verify that such use complies with the rules, policies, honour codes, and terms of the employer, institution, examiner, or platform involved. Roundexa makes no representation, and gives no assurance, that use of the Assistant complies with any such third-party rules.

Roundexa, its founders, and its employees shall not be liable for any consequence arising out of or connected with your use of Roundexa Assistant, including but not limited to disqualification, rejection, termination of employment, academic or professional penalties, reputational harm, or suspension or ban from any third-party platform or service. You agree to indemnify and hold Roundexa harmless against any claim, loss, or damage brought by a third party arising from your use of the Assistant.

As with all AI-generated output on Roundexa (Section 6), suggestions from Roundexa Assistant may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation and are provided at your own discretion and risk. By downloading, installing, or using Roundexa Assistant, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this section in addition to the rest of these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code on Roundexa is the property of Roundexa and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the resume and interview content you upload. By uploading, you grant Roundexa a limited licence to process that content to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roundexa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. Credits will not be deducted during confirmed service outages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@roundexa.com. Unused credits are non-refundable upon voluntary account deletion, except as described in our Refund Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via the platform.
